Created this for one of my students and want to share it with all of you. I wanted to create something where the student could build a rhythm and make a connection to how they can show me that rhythm based on the syllable of the word. This resource likely will get updated as I continue to use it so keep on the lookout for updates and changes! How I envisioned it: Laminate the "spookin' and groovin" printable and place velcro in the middle of each square. Laminate the other two pages and put the other half of velcro dots on the back of those. Students will be able to create many different combinations of Halloween rhythms and how to play them, resulting in them showing you their understanding through performing that rhythm combination.
