This bulletin board would be great for the first month of school. Establish routines and let students know the tone you are setting for your classroom. It is super important that we have bulletin boards like this so students, parents and the community feel welcome. It is even more important that the statements on the posters are reflected and can be seen in the classroom. There also is an interactive part of this bulletin board where you can ask the students "What is the music room to you?" and see what their responses are. It's a great way to see if they agree with your ideas of what it is or have ideas of their own! Have them post their responses on sticky notes or papers and post them there for other students and faculty to see.
